Only the good of gelato


Without milk

Our ice cream is strictly without milk and without plant-based substitutes. To achieve this, we used the skills and research work carried out in the Reology laboratory of the University of Calabria on the structuring of water and vegetable oil based emulsions. Gelbi does not limit itself to being tasty but it becomes a sin of gluttony even for those who today give up gelato: lactose intolerant and vegans.

Gluten free

We wanted a gluten-free gelato to be enjoyed by celiacs.

Without ingredients of animal origin

Designed to please everyone, Gelbi can be called a veg food. It is in fact free of proteins and animal fats, without refined sugars and gluten-free. A water-based gelato in which there are no ingredients of animal origin in any of its components, including emulsifiers and gelling agents. The fats we use are the noblest, the king of the Italian food, the extra-virgin olive oil of Calabria and the sunflower oil.

The ice cream, at best!

An ice cream without milk or substitutes of vegetable origin such as soy milk, almond, rice. Gluten-free and reduced use of sugar. The tastiest selection of Italian DOP and IGP fruit is linked to water and a few noble vegetable fats, such as extra virgin olive oil and sunflower oil. A 100% vegetable ice cream with a high technological content, thanks to research carried out in collaboration with the Reology laboratory of the University of Calabria and Ingegneria Alimentare, which made it possible to produce a water based ice cream, available in all tastes, from fruit to creams.

Rich in hemp protein

A gelato without milk, which does not lack a high nutritional profile, being rich in large quantities of noble vegetable proteins, those of hemp. Among the main benefits attributed to hemp proteins are greater resistance and muscular strength, digestibility, high fiber content and stabilization of blood sugar levels.

Low sugar content

The maximum percentage of sugar present in our ice cream is 17% against an average of the other ice creams that is around 25-30%. Our unique formula allows us to obtain a very good taste without exceeding the accumulation of calories.

Long melting time

Seasonal IGP or DOP Italian fruit

Gelbi owes its unique taste to the excellence of its raw materials, selected among the Italian DOP and IGT products with the addition of the precious cocoa of Ecuador.

The Sicilian pistachio, the figs of the Valle del Crati, the cedar of the “Riviera” and the best Italian seasonal fruit, are flanked by cream flavors with the selection of hazelnuts and almonds from Sicily and the Calabrian liquorice “Grande Nera”. Every taste draws its personality from the best of the production of the Bel Paese, without aromas and colorings.
