Dried yellow ocher roots with a sweet and fruity bouquet. Dark pure juice tending to black, with an intense, unique and persistent flavor: it is the Calabrian licorice. The fresh root of licorice that grows throughout the Mediterranean, only here has found the best mix of calcareous and clayey soil, to obtain the “glabra” variety from which one obtains what is considered the best licorice in the world.
