HAZELNUT

Almost reductive to call it a nutty taste because Gelbi uses the “Tonda” of Sicily, particularly appreciated for its unmistakable aroma, its delicate flavor and its persistent perfume. It is one of the most prized varieties of hazelnuts, characterized by a composition of fatty acids so balanced that it is completely similar to that of olive oil. It is recognized as the dried fruit with the highest content of vitamins thanks to the rich potassium soils on which it is grown. For our hazelnut flavor we use about 14% of shelled hazelnuts, water, dextrose, fructose, sugar and hemp vegetable proteins.
